How are business days calculated?

The calculator counts every day in the range, then excludes Saturdays and Sundays to give the number of business days. The start and end dates are both included in the count.

Can I exclude public holidays?

Yes. Enter the number of public holidays that fall within your date range and the calculator subtracts them from the business days to give the working days.

Do business days include the start and end date?

Both the start date and the end date are counted. For example, Monday to Friday gives five business days.
