Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't track you.

Overview

TimeIs.today works without an account and without sign-in. This page explains, in plain language, what little data is involved when you use the site.

Data stored in your browser

Some tools remember your preferences locally on your device — for example your alarm settings or the last cities you compared in the world clock. This data is kept in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

Data sent to our servers

When you browse the site, our servers and CDN see standard request information: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is the same information every web server receives, and we use it only to serve pages, keep the site secure and diagnose errors. We do not sell, share or transfer this data to third parties.

Geolocation in tools that offer it

Certain tools, such as the Qibla finder and the "use my location" search option, may ask your browser for your approximate position. This happens only if you click the relevant button and approve the browser prompt. The coordinates are processed in your browser to show results; we do not store them on our servers.

Cookies and analytics

The site does not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies or cross-site identifiers. If aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated first.

Third-party content

Some pages embed third-party resources (for example an interactive map). When your browser loads such content, the third party may see your request. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

Children's privacy

The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page. The page is provided as-is without legal guarantees; where local law requires a specific form of privacy notice, that law prevails.
